Nats the Boss (0.1L 2nd)
Super genuine. This gelding has never missed a place in 6 starts and was very stiff not to win today. Was backed $11 into $6.50 and was held up the majority of the straight. he finally got through with 150 to go and chalked up the best closing splits of the race. Raced against some classy horses today and seems to have plenty of upside.

This filly was fantastic on debut. Jumped poorly and worked to the lead. She railed well and won with plenty in the tank eased up on the line. Not sure of the quality she beat but by far the pick of the 2 year olds here.
Abbey Marie (1.5L 1st)
A late inclusion to the quaddie. Defied the slow tempo and the track bias to come from last and win easily. I was sceptical with this horse coming from maiden class but Mick Kent gave her a huge wrap and I now see why. Should progress to much better than benchmark 70 class.
Girl Guide (0.1L 2nd)
First up for the new stable. Drew wide and settled near the back wide with cover. Looked to be travelling well in the straight and finished strongly to just miss after copping a whip to the nose from the winner. She had a range of gear changes today and looks to be back to her best. Will be very hard to beat second up.
